The Awaking And Losing Of The Subject On The Tragic Of Su Tong’s Novel

As one of the most famous writers in Chinese contemporary novel creative course，SuTong has insisted on a serious attitude of creation and stood fast at literary ideal in hiswriting career of nearly30years. He has written many excellent novels，including thepioneer novel，neo-historicism novel, new-realism novel, some of which been adapted intomovies had enormous implication, and seeking to break through constantly with greatenthusiasm. In Su Tong’s novels, considering human nature, writing suffering andreflecting history are full tragic. Based on the research of previous studies, this paper willcombs systematically and studies deeply tragic in Su Tong’s novels, in which attempts toread tragic content and character, at the same time, to remark it gain and loss.This paper divided into four parts. The first chapter mainly introduces some conceptsabout tragedy，including tragedy，tragedy consciousness，tragedy spirit，and briefly contrastthe tragedy view in the difference between the east and west for the better study in thelatter word. The second chapter focuses on discussing the tragic themes from the livingtragedy, spirit tragedy and society tragedy in Su Tong’s novels, then reveals their tragicconnotations caused by conflict and contradiction between people and body, spirit, society.The third chapter further interprets and grasps the aesthetic value of the Su Tong’s novels’tragedy construction through analyzing “father”,“I” and “female”, the three main tragedyfigures. In the fourth chapter by doing diachronic and processive study about Su Tong’screation course, grasp the changes of tragedy in different periods and criticize its gain andloss at the same time.
