The Metaphor Of Contemporary Ink Painting

This study aims to clarify the contemporary ink painting in metaphor,and proves the importance of use metaphor to rich the contemporary ink painting’s expressive and the bearing surface,to express the artist’s personal feelings,strengthen the contemporary ink painting and public contact,and social contact. Firstly the concepts of contemporary ink painting and metaphor are defined in the article. Then,the present status of the research of metaphor are briefly outlined,and the feature of artistic metaphor and metaphoric artistic thinking are also introduced.Then combining with the development background of contemporary ink painting to discuss the questions about the metaphor of the contemporary ink painting.At the same time,the article analyzed the difference of metaphor in works about of contemporary ink painting and traditional ink painting,and further reveals the questions about the contemporary ink painting of metaphor in the formation,characteristics and approaches to understand.
