Various emotional coloring of the lexicon could cause various emotions among source language readers and target language readers. Combined with different cultures, social reality and context of words, the emotional coloring could be thus changed. The final goal of translation is to serve the target language readers. Their acceptability should be considered. It is very important to deal with the emotional coloring lexicon so that it won’t cause sensitive political issues in the translation of news texts. During the translation process, it depends on the context and the social background to decide whether the translator should weaken, strengthen or keep the original emotional coloring.
