The Investigation And Analysis On The Situation Of Vietnamese Students Acquiring Chinese Euphemism

Euphemism is a universal phenomenon in the use of human language, an important means for the people of interpersonal relationship.Doing resea rch in Chinese and Vietnamese euphemism similarities and differences in c ommunication has important practical significance in increasing in Vietna mese students of Chinese euphemism knowledge and improving their Chin ese communicative competence.In this paper, the use of communication in Chinese and Vietnamese eu phemism has been compared. This article also studies the similarities and d ifferences in the euphemism of different cultural backgrounds. This article describes the origin of writing, overview of the Chinese and foreign researc h and significance and research methods. The first part analyzes the concep t, constitution and classification of the euphemism in Chinese and Vietnam ese. First it defines the relevant concepts, compares the Chinese and Vietna mese euphemism euphony, fuzzy and antisense words, which regards as thr ee means of constitution. Select the Chinese and Vietnamese euphemism w ords such as "death","sex","industry" and "disease" for comparation. The second part investigates and analysis the situation of Vietnamese students’ s tudying Chinese euphemism. The paper investigates the understanding and translation of the Vietnamese students of Chinese euphemism and produce four reasons for bias. The reasons includes students’ lack of the knowledge about the euphemisms, inappropriate school curriculum, cultural factors’ no t being a priority in teaching and the improper understanding of students’ le arning. Finally, the paper explores and studies the curriculum and teaching methods of Vietnamese students studying Chinese euphemism. Combined with personal teaching practice, the paper makes a number of possible mea sures and recommendations.
