This paper selects the1940s’creation of Shen Congwen as the research object, which analysis the artistic characteristic creation in this period, and explore the underlying reasons for the formation of this creation. Besides, it also selects the common words in the1940s’creation of Shen Congwen to analysis, and try to revert his image as a philosopher of the East. This papers, which cuts into the form of his works and explores the inside substance, is to realize the realm of Shen Congwen’s super words.By reading and studying the the1940s’works of Shen Congwen, we found that, in those works, Shen Congwen is always concentrate on the description of the beauty natural landscape, and persistent in the light,the shadow, the sound and the color what all in the nature. Shen Congwen, who as a independent life in this nature, on the one hand, is enjoyed and observed on the beauty of the nature;on the other hand, he is a devout admirer, and he absorbs the nature’s silent teachings and revelation to him. Those silent teachings and revelation let Shen Congwen see the divinity and wisdom of life through the lines and colors which is simple, and finally let himself integrated into the nature, to reach the realm of selfless, and the Heaven and Men which is said by Lao Zi, who also said the mind and the matter can get into one thing. This realm, which is difficult to say, let his works appear a lot of phenomenon where is a loss for words. Therefor, a blank writing, a expresson of speechless and a ellipsis, are become as a punctuation mark which appears in his works frequently. Besides, the jumping and ultra-logical creative language let his works appear to be religious which is mystery and romantic. The first chapter of this papers, is to list the performance from these two features by the text level, and give the explanation and the summary about them.The second chapter selects a common imagery and vocabulary which appears in Shen Congwen’s works of the1940s, to give a further elaborated on the subject of this paper."Shui", and "Yun", as a common image in the traditional literature, are the same love for Shen Congwen.
