On The Clothing Names In Mongolian

Selecting clothing names from the Mongolian vocabulary, this thesis classifies the clothing names and explains those one by one. The present author also discusses the structure and origins of those words. At the same time, comparative study of the clothing names between Mongolian dialects is conducted as well.The thesis includes introduction, body (three chapters), summary, appendix, references, and acknowledgement.Introduction includes contents such as the description of the research project, the history of research, significances and purpose of the research, and research methods and steps.Chapter I is the collection of the ciothing names in Mongolian with transcriptions and explanations for meanings of the words.Chapter II deals with characteristics of the clothing names in Mongolian in origin and structure.Chapter III compares the clothing names in Mongolian between Mongolian dialects on the basis of field investigation by the present author.The summary is a conclusion of the contents of full-text.
