Try To Discusses The Society Of Music Education And The Relationship Between The Society Of Music Education And Development Of Music Education Since The20th Century

The world has changed so quickly in20th century. On the one hand,"globalization" appeared along with the fast development of science and technology, as well as the drastic improvement of productivity; on the other hand, the attention towards the overall national strength and educational science had been awakened with the explosion of the two world wars and several serious economic crises. In the latter half of the20th century, the international society of music education was founded and had been growing rapidly into one of the main impetus for the development of musical education. Nowadays, with the development of global informatization and pluralism in the new century, the music education is striding into the era of comparative music education and diverse music cultures. Under the circumstances of new thinking and new situation of music education, International society of music education is playing a more and more important role as the platform for broadcasting music education ideas and organizing activities.This paper, taking the change and development of society and music education as background, focuses on introducing some current international influential music education organizations and exploring their respective strengths. It discusses the relationship between the society of music education organizations and development of music education since the20th century from both theoretical and applicable aspects. Then, two inspirations on future development of the society of music education organizations are obtained through reviewing and analyzing the development history of the Society of music education organizations and music education since the20th century. This paper will not only help us get a better understanding of the development of music education, but also will help the music education organizations be more consistent with the development of music education, and will serve music education much more effectively.
