Gaomi Dialect belongs to Jiaoliao Mandarin, which is an important branch of Mandarin.At present,it has no systemic research about Gaomi Dialect. The local Gazetteer of gaomi only mentioned some simple aspects about vocabulary. Weifang dialect only mentioned some simple aspects about Consonant,vowel, tone and changes of pronunciation of the Gaomi city.This article is a result of comprehensive investigation and study about the Phoneme of my hometown,which is located between Gaomi and Anqiu.This article shows the basic features of this special area. In sum, describing Gaomi Dialect can offer material to the research of ShanDong dialect,particularly the Qing Zhou dialect area,and can offer comtemprary material to the research of Chinese dialects and the history of Chinese language in a deeper step.This thesis use describing and comparative ways,summarize basic regular pattern of ancient Chinese and modern Chinese.The reference frames are ancient Chinese and standard Chinese.This article is divided in six sections:Section One:Introduction.It explains the general geography, history of Gaomi;the dialect branch which Gaomi Dialect blongs to and its basic features;the phonetic symbols and main informants.Section Two:The single-character phonetic system, its major peculiarties and polyphonetic characters.It describes in detail the phoneme characters of Gaomi Dialect in consonants,vowels and tones.,and the basic features of phoneme.Section Three:The changes of pronunciation. The tone sandhi of disyllabic word,the neutral tone and erhua.Section Four:Syllabary. It contains about3500words of Gaomi Dialect.Section Five:The comparison between Gaomi Dialect and Mandarin.Section Six:The comparison between Gaomi Dialect and Qieyun phonology.
