The purpose of this research is to investigate the structure of the primary school students’learning support from family, develop a questionnaire on learning support from family with good measure criterion, and then discussed the preliminary application regarding the questionnaire. First, based on the related literatures at home and abroad, combined with the results of individual interview and characteristics of primary school students, this study put forward the concept and construct of the primary school students’learning support from family, and developed preliminary questionnaire of learning support from family. Then we applied the exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis methods to examine the construct of the learning support from family, meanwhile, we also analyze the reliability and validity of the questionnaire, and form formal questionnaire. Finally, we discussed the current situation of primary school students’learning support from family, and the relationships with self-esteem and learning burnout. The results are as follows:(1)The learning support from family of primary school students include five factors:counsel learning methods and strategies, independent and difficulties coping support, build family loose atmosphere, provide learning conditions, develop healthy life style.(2)The analysis of this study showed this questionnaire has good reliability and validity, which means this questionnaire can be used to measure the learning support from family of primary school students.(3)One purpose of this study was to explore the current situation of. The analysis results indicated as following:The overall level of primary school students’learning support from family is higher.Except develop healthy life style and build family loose atmosphere, other factors and total score of this questionnaire has significant differences for gender, and boys’score was lower than girls’.There was significant differences for grade on the factor of independent and difficulties coping support, and the score of four grade was higher than five and six grade.The level of learning support from family of primary school students who come from cities and towns was significant higher than who come from country.(4)Learning support from family of primary school students has a significant positive correlation with self-esteem, and has a significant negative correlation with learning burnout. Self-esteem had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between learning support from family of primary school students and learning burnout.
