A Study On The Chinese Negative Words In New Era

Language is a mirror, a certain period of language is often closely linked with thesocial community life and social consciousness, and language vocabulary in the sociallife style and social aspects are the most significant, the most active. The developmentof a negative word in a certain extent reflects an era, moral and social areas, folklore,political and socio-cultural psychology. The paper focuses on the negative words thatappear in the new era.Negative words are words reflected the negative factors (or color or meaning) ofthe word, which also have the expression of banter.The thesis is divided into four parts:Preface is introduced the negative words were popular in the new era and themain contents of the research and the problem to be solved; The first chapter from theperspective of language is elaborated the negative words of classification, expressionand the art, revealing a negative word generation, development of the inherent laws;The second chapter from the perspective of the social, cultural, psychologicaldiscussed the reason of the popular of negative words. The impact of mass media,network and complex subculture of people attacking mentality is the main reason forthe negative words popular. The third chapter according to a survey of QinghaiNormal University students’ awareness of the negative words draws a negative wordcurrent development trend and makes some normative strategies.Negative words in the new era of Chinese language as a special phenomenonwidely exists, its popularity has objective and subjective reasons, which contains a lotof places worthy of study, with the value of further research.
