Also facing some problems to be solved: the scarcity ofprofessional teachers, low quality of the teaching material, fuzzy goal of teachingsettings, backward calligraphy education system, and there are the reasons of leadingthe bad result that the Chinese calligraphy teaching in TCFL. The way to solve theabove problems: to improve the quality of foreign calligraphy teacher, to optimize thequality of foreign calligraphy textbook, to clear foreign calligraphy teaching objectives,to enrich the teaching style, focus on improving the students’ cultural literacy.The basic principle is to improve the learning effectiveness of calligraphy in TCFL:cultivate an interest, attention to the cultivation of comprehensive cultural quality andcharacter, independent teaching of the early Chinese characters, Chinese characterssound and meaning is shaped combination, combination of words, adhere to the writingmemorizing Chinese characters.
