Calligraphy is the carrier of Chinese culture,is the witness and record of China's five thousand years of civilization.Calligraphy teaching for international students can not only stimulate their interest in Chinese culture,but also can let foreign students to understand the origin,form and structure of Chinese characters.Help them to have a more comprehensive development in listening,speaking,reading and writing.In this paper,it takes the calligraphy teaching of foreign students as the starting point,taking the calligraphy course of the International Education Institute of Guangxi University For Nationalities as the research object,First elaborated the relationship between calligraphy teaching and teaching Chinese as a foreign language,the status of the investigation from four aspects of teachers,teaching materials,teaching environment and teaching methods of Guangxi University For Nationalities International Education College Students calligraphy class,Then,this paper makes a statistical analysis of the questionnaire of foreign students,and then puts forward the strategies of calligraphy teaching from five aspects: teaching purpose,teaching principles,teaching methods,teaching contents and teaching subjects,At last,this paper designs the calligraphy teaching plan,the calligraphy lesson plan and the calligraphy cultural activity for the foreign students of Guangxi University For Nationalities.
