The Comparative Study Of Mongolian Dictionaries For Information Processing

This research compared the "dictionary of Mongolian","general meaning dictionary of Mongolian" and "Mongolian and Chinese Dictionary"(revised and enlarged), established the database which contains126706entries and84089main words. The paper consists of four parts.The introduction part introduces the background, meaning, research status, sources of materials and the organization of structure.Chapter one introduces the profiles of database establishment. Firstly, discusses the principle of words collection in lexicography; secondly, introduces the profile of database, entry way and elaborates the database constructional problems faced with and their solutions; finally, discussed the overview of words selection.Chapter two describes the comparison of entries and generation of verbal morphology. First of all, discusses the differences of verbal morphology. Secondly, mainly describes the principles when the verb automatically generated program is developed, and discusses the problems encountered and solutions.The last chapter gives a brief summary and discusses the suggestion of further study.
