Development Of Preeminent Moral Resources In Chinese Traditional Festivals

As the important component and representation form of Chinese traditional culture,Chinese traditional festivals contain preeminent ethics, values and thought essence, whichis of very precious moral resources. With the development of market economy and impactof foreign culture, the deficiency phenomenon of modern social moral gets worse tocriticise, and younger generation becomes indifferent even unfamiliar to Chinesetraditional festivals. Deeper development of preeminent moral resources in Chinesetraditional culture and ideological and moral education to the masses of the people can bebeneficial to carry on and promote the preeminent Chinese traditional culture, inheritChinese virtue, and helps to improve people’s moral level and promote harmoniousdevelopment of the society as well.This thesis is to research preeminent moral resources in Chinese traditional festivalsfrom professional perspectives of ideological and political education, aiming at teachingthe masses of the people in moral level by developing preeminent moral resources inChinese traditional festivals. The whole thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is of brief introduction of Chinese traditional festival culture and moralresources. It briefly introduces five traditional festivals of the Spring Festival, theTomb-sweeping Day, the Dragon Boat Festival, the Mid-autumn Festival and the DoubleNinth Festival, discusses meanings of Chinese traditional festival culture and moralresources, and simply sums up rich moral resources in Chinese traditional festival culturefrom four aspects covering individuals, family, society and nature, which brings theorybasis to the latter discussion of the thesis.The second part is of contents analysis in Chinese traditional festival culture andmoral resources. It analyses four preeminent moral resources of patriotic resources, familymoral resources, gratitude education resources and harmony idea resources in Chinesetraditional festival culture in details. The third part is of present development and related analysis of Chinese traditionalfestival culture and moral resources. It summarizes the experiences got from developmentof Chinese traditional festival culture, analyses the current difficulties with reasons. Basedon the current situation analysis, further describes the necessity and feasibility in Chinesetraditional festival culture and moral resources exploration, and then reveals the reasonsand meanings of the topical subject selection.The fourth part is of development and implementation of Chinese traditional festivalculture and moral resources.It is not only the focal point of the thesis, but also the difficultpoint, which includes four sections of adopting efficient resources protective measures,abiding by reasonable resources development principles, stressing scientific resourcesdevelopment strategy and carrying out feasible resources development ways.
