The Use Of Multiple Translation Tools In EST Translation

The traditional EST translation studies have focused on the specific analysis ofgrammatical features, lexical features, and stylistic features, etc, to arrive at themethods and techniques of EST translation. For example, translation of longsentences, passive voice, conversion of part of speech, etc.There has beenconsiderable theoretical results in these areas, so this paper attempts to explore from anew perspective. Combined with the author’s own experience, the thesis illustrateseffects of modern translation tools in EST translation.Now, translation practice has undergone a drastic change compared with the past.There’s no exaggeration to say all translation are CAT(Computer Aided Translation).This article attempts to clarify application of Trados software, Google Translate,dictionary software and net dictionary in EST translation.
