Under such background, the writerdecided to translate this novel and treat it as a base on which the writer analyses theover foreignizing problems existing in Chinese versions of this type of bestsellers.This translation task could also introduce these vampire series to our Chinese readerstimely, making them knowledgeable with the on-going trend of English bestsellers.Here the writer decided to adopt the modestly-domesticating translation method bypointing out the problems existing in the over foreignized translations.
