In recent years, there are more and more subjects developing from theinterdisciplinary.We can’t simply define a subject within the limitation of certainscale because nowadays the community is showing a diversification trend. With thedevelopment of science and technology, traditional graphic design of print-basedpattern is broken, while a new media, with its unique advantages, is stepping into theworld of graphic design, bringing much more possibilities. In response to thisphenomenon, this article made a study and analysis of the features presented ingraphic design in the new media environment.New media" is relative to the "old media", it not only has a unique sense of thetimes and, more importantly, it helps the graphic design achieve successfulconveyance. The "new media" not only refers to a kind of media with the high-endtechnologies or new materials, but also refers to the formation of a designer’s specificdesign style, that is, the "new media" refers to the technical aspects to the culturaldimension of the generalized media. This article focuses on the point of view placedin the technical aspects of graphic design rendered in different aspects of thecharacteristics of new media technology to do an induction. and to reach the inferencethat the graphic design with various new forms in the environment of new media notonly challenge the visual experience of people but change their aesthetic views aswell. In some cases, it even highlights on leading people to build a positive viewabout life and value but not just provoking the consumption.In this paper, the author generalized the changing of graphic design mediathrough analyzing the current study at home and overseas, and getting to know thevisual likes and dislikes of people. then on the base of that, the paper caught thefeatures of current graphic design from the aspect of transmissive method、displayingapproach and aesthetic trend. At last according to the dependence that people attend tothe new media and its authority, the paper take a reasonable and sensible look at therelationship between graphic design and other elements including truth、people andsociety in hope of leading the people to regard the fact that the new media has beengrowing in the graphic design with a rational attitude.
