For thousands of years, China and Korea have been closely related to each other. Since both countries’ culture, ideology, religion have been shared and influenced each other, they have a lot in common. It is the same in both countries’ literature. The literature reveals the author since it contains the author’s sense of value, thought and feeling. And, the author’s language style is influenced by his or her country’s culture, ideology and lifestyle. Realistic authors who named LaoShe’ and Chae Man-Sik in those two countries, expressed characteristic of their countries in their literary works and it gives us a reason to compare their works.This thesis will lead you to realize similarities and differences between their language style by comparing and analyzing "Four generations" of LaoShe’ and "Tak-ryu" of Chae Man-Sik.
