A Study On The Thought Of Shin Chae Ho

Dan Jae Shin chae ho was one of the most prominent figures in the independence movement in South Korea in twentieth century.He is a wise man who internalized philosophy to against Japan.He is also a Nationalist,a historian,a luminous enlightener of national movement and a patriotic writer.Shin was born in a degenerate family in CHOSUN,and he particularly liked reading in childhood.He was very intelligent in youth,and he embarked on the road of anti-Japanese independence movement based on patriotic enlightenment Movement.He wrote Docsaxinlon which helped to establish Korean national view of history,shin organized alliance the name of "Anarchy Eastern alliance" which light up his way as an Anarchist.Although Shin chae ho was not a pure philosopher,he strived to solve the problems which relate to South Korean with philosophy in twentieth Century.Objectively speaking,his ability of philosophy equaled to the other philosophers.He was an intellectual who concerned his mother land with heart and soul.He kept the figures of unique understanding of Confucianism,the outlook on life,concept of history,national view and the view of literature.He had left a precious cultural heritage for the latter generations.This paper contains five chapters which are mainly to discuss Shin chae ho's thoughts.Chapter one introduces the purpose and significance of this paper,and concludes the literature reviews of overseas and domestic.Besides,chapter one introduced the research methods.Chapter two represents the times background,personal life and works of Shin chae ho.He grew up in the times when the colonists intended to carve up the CHOSUN Peninsula.What worse,Japan and the Russian had invaded CHOSUN.He accepted the influence of Confucianism which was told by his grandfather Shin Seong ho.However,the vicissitudes of the times environment enlightened him abandon the expectation that solved the Korean practical problems by the thinking of traditional Confucianism,thus his thought kept the pace his times constantly.The whole life of Shin chae ho can be divided into four stages:adolescence,enlightenment,exile,and in prison.In his rough lifetime he created the remarkable writings which including political essays,biographies,novels and so on.His works made an difference in inspiring national morale and safeguarding national independence.Chapter three analyzes the thought of Shin Chae Ho.As we knew Shin chae ho was famous as a great prophet and strengthen leader during Independence Movement.Besides,he was also an ideologist,historian,statesman,rhetoric who possessed interdisciplinary.Therefore,we can only dig up his thoughts by over viewing his attitude to history,national and literature.This thesis put focus on the analysis of Shin chae ho thoughts by five aspects.Chapter four is a conclusion.
