This thesis contains the preface, three chapters as the main part and conclusion. It makes an overall reflection of the female writing since the1990s from the genderperspective of the “male care”, and it reveals the restriction of genderculture to deepthought of individual to highlight the unique meaning of “male care” in femalewriting in the historical and present context. The research articles in this paper is female writing since the1990s, so the mostimportant issue in the preface is to explain special writing trend in female writingsince the1990s. Due to its special cultural mission and responsibility, the "male care"became a new attitudes and methods. Because the concept of "male care" is the mainline throughout this article, the latter two parts of the preface explain this concept withlarge space and put forward the basis for the concept interpretation and its possibilityin women’s writing. It can also be seen as an overview of the relevant research. The first chapter mainly focuses on the norms and constraints for men from thedeep-rooted "patriarchal culture". Women writers, in their works, not only describethe concrete reflection of the patriarchal culture "-the substance of the "patriarchy ",but also reveal men and women both bear alienation and repression from the socialconnotation of gender. In the shadow of the tremendous “patriarchy”, women sufferedunequal treatment, while men could not understand their real situation. With no wayto know their own ideology and their female companion, more men portrayedthemselves as women expected, and even as an overload and distorted figure whilethe female ego disappeared. In the era of commercialization advancing rapidly, thecomplex reality and the surging material oriented values made men in the real worldcontinue consolidating the role of the traditional "patriarchal culture". In their works, women writers realized the heroic emotion for man to bury patriarchy, and also heardthe voice of alienation and lost soul in the consumption age.On the base of the first chapter, the second chapter further analyzes men’sdilemma and helplessness realistically, and explores the impact for men from thestrong trend of metropolitan "New Feminism". As the metropolitan "New Feminism" in this article is a new concept defined on the basis of the relevant research, the firstsection of Chapter II describes its meaning in detail. This can also be seen as aninnovation of this paper. In their works, women writers made many strong-willedwomen, whose desire chased men at a loss and caused obstacles in communicationwith each other. The imbalance of women’s role made the intrinsic tolerance andunderstanding for men in love and marriage gradually disappear, and made oftenoverlook that men in real life also need comfort and tenderness in heart. The third chapter is the sublimation of the first two chapters. In chapter one, werecognize that men’s strong psychology in "patriarchal culture" makes themselvesphysically and mentally fatigued, while the metropolitan "new feminism" in thesecond chapter makes the men’s mind find no way to release. Men and women turninto an incompatible dualistic opposite situation in spirit and life. Based on thedeep-rooted “patriarchal culture” and constraints and influence of the metropolitan“new feminism” for man in the area of gender, women writers need to rethink thedirection and meaning of female writing on a deeper level."Male care" further pointsto the method to crack the binary opposition between men and women, that is, genderperspective of “gender harmony”. The requirements of a new era need dialoguebetween men and women in reality, which become the fulcrum for them to build aharmonious building. With the awareness of the men’s crisis and pain in the real life, women writers have explored what is the real need of men in their articles, which hassignificant meaning in the development of gender harmony and the gradualimprovement of women awareness. The conclusion stresses the importance of “male care” in female writing andconfirms its common concern to the fate of men and women in real life moreprofoundly and thus lays foundation for continuous expansion and research of femalewriting.
