The Study On The Political Situation Of Empertor Yuanyingzong In Yuan Dynasty

The Yuan Dynasty, a feudal dynasty which unified the whole country, wastablished by Mongolian nobilities in Chinese history.Emporer Yuanyingzong,son ofEmperor Yuan renzong, was the fifth emperor in Yuan dinasty. EmporerYuanyingzong was died in1320,then Emporer Yuanyingzong ascended thethrone.After that,there is fierce political struggle between Emporer Yuanyingzongand his grandmother Daji. As soon as his grandmother died,Emporer Yuanyingzongstarted to reform with the help of the prime minister Baizhu.In1323, EmporerYuanyingzong was killed by Tieshi in a coup.He was widely well-known attributed to“new deal” and “the Nanpo Coup”.Emporer Yuanyingzong is the first emporer who was murdered in the bloodycoup.for the incident of the Coup of Nanpo,There are many reasons such as theincidious of Tieshi and Yiexiantiemuer,the drawbacks of Emporer Yuanyingzongand so on.Nevertheless,the most and formost reason is the profound socialsituation.This thesis tries to reveal the political struggle during the stage of EmporerYuanyingzong by analyzing the situation of the pioriod before he became an emperorand after he ascended the throne.In this thesis, the political situation of Emporer Yuanyingzong is focuses onand dicoursed by five chapters. The political background of the peoriod of EmporerYuanyingzong discussed and analyzed in the first chapter the fierce competition afterEmporer Yuanchengzong’death、“Wuren shoushou” and Emporer Yuanyingzong’s ascending the throne after Emporer Yuanrenzong abandoned the principle of“Wuren shoushou”are mainly discussed. In Chapter II, centred by the formation ofpolitical groups, the political landscape is studied. In chapter III, the reason whyEmporer Yuanyingzong Implement the New Deal,the specific content of the NewDeal and the positive impact of the New Deal are discussed and explored. Byintroducing the system of two capitals,the military system of Qiexue andShiweiqinjun,the thesis concretely analizes the historical reasons which leads to “theNanpo Coup” in the fourth chapter.In the last chapter,this thesis focus on theprofound historical influence on the the Yuan Dynasty’s rule in the middle and laterperiod as a result from the political situation of Emporer Yuanyingzong.
