The research on the Xinglongwa culture plays a significant role in talking aboutthe origin of the Zhaobao Ditch culture and the Hongshan culture as well as the shapingand development of the early Neolithic culture in the northeast part. Currently, manyessays on Xinglongwa culture have been published, among which the questions such asthe specific geographic type, years installment, settlement structure and the spatial andtemporal relations with the surrounding archaeological culture of the Xinglongwa culturehave not reached the unanimous conclusion.The essay will make a summary about the current published materials on theXinglongwa culture.
