Study On The Settlement Patterns Of Xinglongwa Culture

The settlement patterns of xinglongwa culture occupies an important position in the prehistoric settlement of liaoxi area.It has been more than thirty years since it was discovered and named in 80s of 20th century.However,there are few settlements in the formal archaeological excavations,and the materials are not fully published.Therefore,the understanding and research on the xinglongwa cultural settlement is still in the initial stage.Based on the published data,this paper analyzes and discusses the settlement patterns of xinglongwa Culture.Mainly includes the following aspects:summarize the features of settlement patterns of xinglongwa culture;Compare with the differences of settlements between xinglongwa culture and the other prehistoric cultural in the liaoxi area;Discusses the problems such as population scale,production and life style,social organization,burial custom,primitive religious belief,etc.Make explanation of the status and influence of Xinglongwa cultural settlement in the development of the prehistoric settlement in the liaoxi area.
