As a specific category of objects,the Neolithic oblique pottery only be founded in Northeast China.The unique geographical distribution highlights the value of oblique pottery,but previous researchers just discussed its name,time and space,type and function.With the new archaeological material discovered in recent years,it is necessary to make a comprehensive study for oblique pottery.This experiment,not only provides references for a single class,but also offers the new perspective to explore the relationship between the Neolithic archaeological cultures.This article is divided into 6 chapters.Chapter 1: introduction.Clear the definition of oblique pottery,introduce its current research situation,purpose and meaning.Chapter 2: archaeological discovery and distribution.Statistics all oblique pottery's site and distribution.Chapter 3: cultural property and type.Combined with the archaeological culture's temporal and spatial framework what has already established in Northeast China,the oblique pottery can put in the six oblique archaeological cultures.Meanwhile,they also can be divided into two types and clear where the type of oblique pottery's time position is in the archaeological cultures.Chapter 4: stage of development and evolution.Through the understanding of the Similar shape oblique pottery who were in different timescale,this article divided oblique pottery's stage into early,middle and late periods.On this basis,put Neolithic oblique pottery into two oblique evolution.Chapter 5: design source and function judgment.By elaborate the relationship with oblique pottery,oblique cylindrical tank and jade hoop-shaped,explain the Design source of oblique pottery,and regard unearthed environment and the trace table as the starting point,Judge oblique pottery's function.Chapter 6: conclusion.
