Faced with the grim employment situation, how the vocational students to depend on the market demands and their own personality traits to determine the fields of the profession, and then successfully make their career decisions, is the real issue we have to seriously think about.In this study, firstly I revised the Proactive Personality Scale (PPS) preliminarily. Then I take607vocational students to explore the effects of proactive personality and social support upon career decision-making difficulties, in which correlation analysis, regression analysis, structural equation modeling and other data analysis methods were used. The results show as follows:First, the correlation analysis showed that, there is moderate significant correlation between proactive personality and the every dimension of career decision-making difficulties; there is also moderate significant correlation between social support and the every dimension of career decision-making difficulties.Second, the regression analysis showed that, the proactive personality and the social support can both played as predictor variables for career decision-making difficulties.Third, the mediating effect analysis showed that, the general self-efficacy sense acts as an Intermediary in the relationship between proactive personality and career decision-making difficulties, and also between social support and career decision-making difficulties.
