Music education as an important part of quality education in our country, and more and more attention were played in it. Research about public music electives, and has become the subject of close attention to the National Ministry of Education, at all levels of the Board of Education, as well as colleges public art department. Piano public elective one as the practice of public music education courses are also increasingly subject to the attention of music educators and researchers of public elective teaching piano to become a new field of study. Pianos the public elective effective teaching research carried out for non-music majors in college is universal implementation of the demands of the era of public arts education, but the current situation is not optimistic public elective college piano teaching, therefore, the researchers would like to use the college piano public elective delivery vector for a new teaching concept for further development of the college piano Public Elective actively explore in order to enrich the diversity and effectiveness of the College Public Art Education.In this study, using action research on the college piano public elective effective teaching practice and actively explore. Meanwhile, information, data collection, collation and analysis, observation, interviews and questionnaires.This study consists of five main parts:The first part, focuses on the research background and literature review. Elaborate study of the basic issues, combing through the literature, summarized existing research, raised the significance and value of the purpose of the study, and then clear the ideas and methods of research;The second part of the College piano public elective effective teaching and research carried out theoretical concepts. According to the information collected from the formulation of educational goals, implementation and evaluation of the choice of teaching content and teaching activities theoretical concepts. The third part of the Public Elective Courses of Colleges piano practice and exploration. Specific research methods to explore the main problems in the A-school piano practice teaching Public Elective and explore the factor analysis and the reasons for the problems.
