As a crucial point in the field of the world music culture, the multi-cultural musiceducation has already become the global wide development and utilization. Furthermore, itappears in different varieties of the music educational scales in the world wide. Based on thetheory of the music education, multi-culture education and artistic education, this paperinvestigates the status of the multi-cultural music education in the universities and colleges ofscience and technology in Hebei province. Through the research, the author wants to make aconclusion of an efficient pathway to conduct the multi-cultural music education. In the firstparagraph the author summarizes the development of the multi-cultural music education in theuniversities and colleges of science and technology in Hebei province, and presents the basicconcept of culture, multi culture, music culture. In view of the factors mentioned above, leadto the content and the value of the multi-cultural music education. In the second paragraph,through the way of questionnaire and interview survey on the status and the acquaintance ofthe music education among the students of the universities and colleges, the author intends tofind out the factors which would cause the impediment of the development. The results of thecurrent study show that the lack of fundamental knowledge, the unbalance setting ofcurriculum, the less number of music teachers, and the dullness of the artistic activities, wouldbe the key points. In the third paragraph, the author expounds his opinion on building anefficient path to conduct the multi-cultural music education in3aspects, the renewal of theeducational concept, the enhancement of the faculty building, and the innovation of theeducational reform.
