《Handout Of Introduction To Literary Theory》, which reflects Laoshe’s early creative concept, is almost the only specialized theory works created by him. It’s no doubt that it is significant in theoretical fields, especially to the study of Laoshe’s creation, but it always can’t arouse enough attention from the academia. The perspectives of Laoshe researchers have always been in the works itself, to study deeply then analysis it, but pay less attention on his literary ideology and creating theory.Laoshe is recognized as the "People Author". The creations in his life are all based on people’s livelihood, which focus on the ordinary citizen even the lower classes people’s lives and destiny, prominently show the impact of people’s fate by his own personality and the social reality, and the people’s hearts and feelings in a special social context. Laoshe’s works are also the most sincere emotion expression by his heart, that is exactly what he highlights and emphasize in 《Handout Of Introduction To Literary Theory》Therefore, this article intends to, based on 《Handout Of Introduction To Literary Theory》, make interpretation of literary thought which Laoshe reflects in this theoretical works by four parts. Firstly, it will start from making a statistics of "Heart" in 《Handout Of Introduction To Literary Theory》 and the using frequency of derivative words and concepts from "Heart""Spirit"、"Mind"、"Psychology"、"Mood"、"Heart Feeling" and so on. To make this statistics, we can not only notice Laoshe’s focus on "Heart", but also know about the influence on him by the theoretical thinking at home and abroad, through the quotation of the connective words and concepts. After doing that, it starts to search for Laoshe’s "Heart" origin in Chinese traditional cultural and western culture in Chapter ii, then conclude the aesthetic connotation of Laoshe’s "Heart" concept and its practical meaning in fiction、poetry、prose、drama in Chapter iii and Chapter iv.
