With the rapid development of economy and society, as the subdiscipline of"Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language"(TCFL),Teaching Business Chinese has beenbecame to be the professional Chinese teaching which is demanding the highest degree anddeveloping Fastest. The research and exploration of the space is also very large. In theacademic circles, whether it should be opened the Business Chinese Threshold, thescholars always have some differences. Most scholars believe that the business Chineseteaching professional is very strong. The learners who study Chinese should have a solidgrasp about the basic pronunciation, vocabulary, and syntax of Chinese, just after integrantprimary common Chinese has been studied. Then they could enter the learning stage ofBusiness Chinese Studying. However, at home and abroad, the really situation is thatmultitudinous business Chinese learners always have little or even no Chinese foundation.And they have to be trained in a so short time, that they couldn’t complete the basicgeneral Chinese learning by conventional Chinese teaching. On the other hand, the learnersare crying out for using business Chinese effectively during their working time.This paper is based on the basic theory of teaching Chinese as a foreign language andSecond language acquisition. It is Key using of some related discipline theory, just likesocial linguistics, economic linguistics, Chinese terminology, ESP (Special use Englishteaching theory) and so on. It has made a comprehensive analysis and research about thenecessity and particularity of Business Chinese Threshold. At the same time, by using theevaluate materials theory to help us make a detailed introduction and analysis about thetypical case of Business Chinese Threshold.Through the study of literature, by using contrastive analysis method, it summarizesparticularity in multiple levels of Business Chinese Threshold, including the teachingobjective, teaching content, teaching object, teaching design and teachers’ quality ability.Furthermore, the paper discusses the present situation, problems and needs of BusinessChinese Threshold. Consequently, by studying the cases of teaching material for BusinessChinese Threshold——<Chinese For Managers>(Everyday Chinese Volume1&2), fromthe point of an example, it responses the problem which has been or maybe appear duringthe study. For the analysis of the teaching materials, it could be unfolded from twostratification plane: First, teaching topic covered in the content. Second, the teaching material style and arrangements compile. And it refers to the choice of teaching materialand the writing of the text content, scene setting, selection and arrangement of words,grammar interventional angle, various ability training, simulation training and the specialteaching "Do As The Chinese Do". The paper has made a comprehensive introduction andanalysis about the content, characteristics, function and meaning of the teaching material.Combining the teaching actual, it studies preciously with the particularity of BusinessChinese Threshold and the case teaching material——<Chinese For Managers>(EverydayChinese Volume1&2). And it summarizes the problems about content, practice andsystematic of Business Chinese Threshold teaching material. Then four advice can be putforward: First, point strengthens. Second, highlight particularity. Third, raise interest. Forth,enhance practicability.By studying the teaching and teaching material of Business Chinese Threshold, it notonly has made relevance in theoretical level and teaching level, but also has fixed up withthe demands which are needed urgently and extensively in this field in nowadays.Therefore, it plays a very positive role in promoting to connect theoretical research withfield research. It has just reflected all the theory should come from the field research andalso serve the field research, and has provided some reference for classroom instructionand textbook compilation of Business Chinese Threshold in the future too.
