Universe Realm As A Poetic Imagination Of The Spiritual Life

Against the overall situation of the lack of realistic commitments and ideal care for the Current Literature, this thesis will explore the possible literary manifestations on the "Human Theme" from universe realm which has the sense of ultimate concern. The definition of the philosophical implication of universe realm is the foundation, and we discourse the literary form on this basis. The paper is divided into three parts.Introduction. The people criticized Current Literature because it divorces from reality and lacks ideas and feelings. In other words, it’s lost for the literary theme of "Human". We can know the lack of the current literature, tracing the humanities theme of the origin of the modern and contemporary literature-the May Fourth Literature. In traditional Chinese culture and literature, focusing on humanities is an eternal topic. We select the point universe realm to contrast the defects of the current literature.The first chapter focuses on the philosophical implication of universe realm. Feng Youlan’s philosophy system is rooted in the traditional Chinese philosophy, culture and literature, and the theory of life realm bases on his philosophical system. Universe realm bases on the theory of life realm and it’s the highest level. The task of the first half of this chapter is abstracting two important concepts "Human Domination" and "Universe" from Feng Youlan’s theory of universe realm on the basis of analyzing the four forms of Life Realm step by step. In the latter half, we try to analyze the Universe Realm in a logical manner, hoping to get rid of the mystery and agnostic of Feng Youlan’s Universe Realm. Under the premise of redefining the boundaries of consciousness and cognition, we want to extract the two forms of Universe Realm: getting inside the object and getting out of them at the same time; purely reflecting the inherent world.The second chapter expounds these two forms of literary expression in classical Chinese poetics. The inner texture why literature and philosophy have been able to blend in the area of Universe Realm is that Universe Realm is a scope which reflects not only the reality of life but also ultimate meaning and a territory literature and philosophy have to touch. Literature performance to the first form of Universe Realm represents the limitations of reality and the sadness means of life in literary forms, tending to the unknown higher meaning of existence. The second literary form of Universe Realm show a empty and free space created by conscious human so that subjective perspectives can be limited and the ambiguous means and relationships between things in the inherent world are not obscured. Artistic Conception of Classical Chinese poetry, the pictographic transitive characteristics of Chinese characters and flexible ancient classical Chinese grammar rules happen to fit this second form.The third chapter is a review and criticism to the May Fourth Movement and Literature. The May Fourth Movement is a political movement that pursues national liberation using the ideological and cultural means. But the strong force and limits from politics largely weaken the its ideological and cultural significance. And the ideological and cultural content was transplantable fragments from West. There was not a thorough understanding to Western culture, and it did not connect with China’s traditional culture. The reason we review the May Fourth Movement from the point of Universe Realm is:the May Fourth Movement was a variety of results of the spirit of the traditional Literates; at the same time, Universe Realm was a very important area by which the traditional Literates imagine and experience the idealized and poetic spiritual life.
