Along with the economic development of China, Mandarin-Chinese has becomeone of the most popular second language options around the world. The convenientaccess to information made it possible for people who lived in other countries to learnmore about nowadays China, and make their plans to come and study, or even start alife. Due to the fact that different country reaches different teaching levels, the careerof “teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages” still has a long way to go. Inview of this, the writer took the chance of being an exchange student in Swedenduring year2011and2012, and collected much information and related materialsbased on the sense of being a mandarin teacher for years. By doing research on theoverall situation of Chinese teaching in Vaxjo, and starting a quite successful“Chinese Class” in Linnaeus University, the paper was given a whole new view onChinese second language teaching by taking insight from the class itself. Somepractical suggestions were put forward according to the findings during Chinese Class,and some interviews to a few local Chinese teaching experts in Sweden, to provide areference to the TCSOL career undertakes at home or abroad.The structure of the paper is as follows:The first chapter mainly introduced the researching background, purpose,significance and some related researches at home and abroad. The second chapterfound three deep ends on Chinese teaching in Vaxjo. The third chapter discussed theadvantages and disadvantages on Swedish speakers Chinese learning based on thedetailed analysis of Chinese Class. The forth chapter put forward some suggestions according to the local unique features. And the last chapter drew a conclusion on thewhole paper and its mighty deficiencies.
