This article, on the basis of Error Analysis, combines with ContrastiveLinguistics to research and analyse the Bridge and the English note of unit forty inBasic Chinese.Chapter One Introduction First of all, it discovers that Teaching Chinese asa foreign language (TCFL)develops rapidly at home and broad with a great number ofteaching materials of TCFL following, among which exist many errors, and thereforegreat value could be found in analysing it---to populize Chinese all over the world inthe long term, and reduce the barriers of lerning it in the short run.In this article, we do our research by means of two common teaching materials ofTCFL, item-by-item analysis and contrast classification to be our analysing method.Chapter Two It summarizes the research results of precursors, and try to findthe shortcomings of the previous research on that basis.Chapter Three We adapt Quantitative Analysis to analyse the English note inthese two books word by word, find the questions and sort them out. They can bedrawn into seven types---1.meanings differently from the not and the word to be noted, or not exactly.2. scope of applications between the two words are not equivalent.3.The English note cannot reflect the colors or the degrees of the right emotions.4.The part of speech may be mixed when transferred.5.Too many different meanings in the list, among which are not appropriate forthe text.6.The notes are so brief that lack some necessary determiners.7.The notes are too complicated or some common noting words are notmentioned. Chapter Four It combines Contrastive Linguistics and deviations in textbookcompilations to analyse the specific problems in the English notes and Propose thesolution to the problems accordingly---1.The notes are inaccurate, in wrong limits or in wrong word surroundings.2.The deviations of the emotional colors or the cultural background in the notes.3.The part of speech in the notes.Chapter Five It mainly put forward several macro-rules for noting words inthe textbooks.
