In today’s world, with the rise of China, the world has been popular of learning Chinese. When English is widely used as a media language, this paper carefully reviews the two typical TCFL textbooks, summarizes and analyzes the ways of English translation, which finds out questionable words of them and suggestions to improve the accuracy of English translation.This paper is divided into the following sections: the beginning is an introduction, which introduces the main methods and theoretical research process needed such as questionnaires, quantitative analysis, semantics, aspects of translation studies and so on. This paper will be based on the previous article and dig further on the ways of English translation in TCFL textbooks and their problems. The first chapter introduces a survey and theories about English translation in TCFL textbooks involved, including comparative analysis, interlanguage and error analysis theory; The results of the survey show that most students hope to improve the accuracy of English translation. The second chapter analyzes and summarizes the ways of English translation in "Boya Chinese Elementary(Second Edition)"(the first and second volumes) and "New Practical Chinese Reader "(the third and fourth volumes). Proposing three ways of English translation: to use morphemes as units, to use words as units and integrated translation method. According to the second chapter, the third chapter summarizes the problems of English translation. Chapter fourth, makes a number of solutions to the current English translation of TCFL textbooks, such as translating cultural connotations, adding pictures and annotations to help understand the basic meaning and so on. The final chapter is a summary part of this paper. I hope this will be able to improve teaching Chinese as a foreign language finally.
