Analogical transfer in human learning plays an irreplaceable status, and it is an importanttheme in the field of psychology research at present. Many researchers reached the followingconsensus in analogical transfer stage division: Analogical transfer includes four stages, thatis,1) The source and target problems encoding or representation;2)the retrieval based on thecharacterization of the target problems, and sometimes it will be divided into a plurality oftarget of activation and a target of selection;3) Source problem is applied to the targetproblem. Applications included mappings between the source and target problems and thesolving principles of source problems in order to adapt to the target problem process;4) Theschema induction in solving the target problems by means of source problems. There aredeficiencies in the research on analogical transfer and strategy research. The experimentrandomly selected Tangshan city in a key senior high school grade30mathematics gifted,30mathematical poor students as research subjects. This study is based on10mathematicsproblems, using oral report method as the main research methods. The results show thatstudents with learning difficulties in the apparently similar questions performed well, butperformed bad in the flexibility of thinking. It is difficult to form an effective characterization,to extract of effective information, to establish the mapping relation, and to solve the targetproblems successfully. In the end, the article puts forward some teaching suggestions aboutthe cultivation of students’ analogical transfer ability, gives tips for mathematics teachers insenior middle school that they should pay attention to the mathematics basic knowledgelearning, and focuses on the cultivation of students with learning difficulties, reflection, generalization ability to sum up.
