Currently the main form of teaching is the traditional class instruction. In the classteaching system, the teacher’s starting point is not aims at and adapts each particularstudent completely, will present “the same teaching objectives, teaching content,teaching schedule, and even the same evaluation criteria,” and so on methods. Withouttaking into account individual differences of students, severely hampered thedevelopment of student’s personality, resulting in excellent student “hungry”, theclassroom attraction was insufficient; for the poor students, the more they learn, themore difficult they feel, the more unable they extricate themselves, which leads to aserious setback in the enthusiasm to learn, and then hatred toward learning, resulting inpoor efficiency of the classroom and serious polarization. On the other hand, teachers inthe classroom tend to focus only on imparting academic knowledge, learning skills, butoften neglect affective factors in the learning process. Over time, it will be very negativefor the students of self learning, independent learning, lifelong learning. The vocationalstudent’s English beginning is low, the foundation is weak, the possibility of differencesis very great, and this is the status of vocational English. How to individualize allstudents in accordance with their aptitude, adopt different teaching methods andclassified instructions to students of different levels, so that every student learnssomething to use has become a hot topic of concern.The famous American psychologist Broome pointed out that "many students in thestudy failed to achieve good results, the main problem is not the students lack wisdom,but because without proper teaching conditions and reasonable help ","if providesappropriate study condition, most of the students will become very similar to the abilityof learning,learning speed, further learning motivation, etc.".The study condition,which means that the necessary learning time and new learning opportunity for studentsto master the knowledge and get individual guidance." Level teaching" is to providemaximally the "learning condition" and "necessary new learning opportunities" forstudents at different levels. The teaching process is the process of the communicationbetween teachers and students, it must be in the same level, which means both partiesmust have a "common language". In each class, students are at different levels, in orderto let all students have the opportunity to communicate, the teacher must provide the content of communication at different levels."Level teaching" is an important teachingmethod according to the students’ practical learning degree and is to adapt to such arequest in the traditional class teaching system,For the purpose of ascertaining the result of this pedagogy, the author makes anexperimental study on English level teaching for the Computer Major Students ofSenior One in Secondary Vocational School. The students are divided into the levels A,B, C according to their grades.The paper consists of five parts:Part One: The introduction to the study. The writer clarifies the purpose andsignificance of the experiment.Part Two: The literature review. This part introduces the basic theories and thepresent study condition at home and abroad.Part Three: The Experimental Design: objectives, tools, subjects and procedure.Part Four: Result and Analysis.The last part: Conclusion.
