During the New Kingdom of Ancient Egypt, Egypt was powerful, and it kept arelationship with foreign countries frequently. Thus, compared with the former period, theeducation system in this period had new features, but it still inherited from the early periodsof ancient Egypt. Instructions were the most important resources for analyzing the educationsystem in the New Kingdom, and the educational ideology of Egyptians would be summed upby them.This article was divided into four chapters. In the first chapter, it gave the concept ofeducation. Education belong to social activity, its direct target was to affect the physical andmental development. It made clear the difference and connection between the education andthe instructions. Education was a dynamic mode, it needed educators and learners. Theinstruction was a literary genre, it provided guidelines and objectives for the educationalprocess. In the second chapter, this paper discussed the types of education, which includedfamily education and school education. The family was the first place where one receivededucation. It was the main force to disseminate cultural and train professional skills before themature of school system. While compared with the family education, the school educationwas more formal. The school could be demarcate as court school, temple school and villageschool. In that time, a number of foreign princes came to Egypt for accept education. And thismade the education had international characteristics. In the third chapter, this paper discussedthe educational content and educational method. The educational context included the basicknowledge and the professional knowledge. The former included the reading, writing andcounting, and the later involved in medicine, theology and architecture. And the educationalmethods were beating and inducements. In the last chapter, this paper exposited the worldview and the education concept ofAncient Egypt.
