Emotional self-regulation is considered as the individual in emotional awakeningthrough a certain way to revise and improve their own state of expression and behavior, inorder to realize the goals and achieve the personal balance. It is not only a kind of processbut also a kind of ability.The structure of the construction has been the multiple orientation, butin recent years, the structure of good emotional regulation of Eisenberg gets attention andrecognition by the fachwelt because of its easy to operate. It includes three dimensions:persistence, compliance, frustration. For many years, domestic and foreign scholars havedone a lot of researches on emotion self-regulation found that it affected by various factors,especially children’s temperament and parenting.And in foreign literature found theinteraction between the two.But in our country, the research of this aspect is few. Thepurpose of this study was to investigate the relationship among3years-old-children’stemperament and parenting and children’s emotional self-regulation—the dimension of3year-old-children’ temperament have significant correlation with the children’s dimensionsof emotional self-regulation; parenting’s dimensions have significant correlation with thechildren’s dimensions of emotion self-regulation; the dimension of children’s temperamentand parenting affect the children’s emotional self-regulation in interaction.The completionof this study can enrich the theory of social development of children, and in practice, it canprovide a vital theoretical support for parents, choosing appropriate parenting to train theiremotions self-regulation according to children’s temperament.The research methods of this study refer to the situation of observation and thequestionnaire.343years-old-children as object were randomly selected from thekindergarten in dalian city, first they participate in the experiment of children emotionalself-regulation and then with their mother participate in the experiment of observation ofparenting. A questionnaire measures the children’s temperament, inviting mothers accordingto children’s performance nearly six months to fill in. Finally, on the relation amongchildren’s temperament and parenting and emotional self-regulation make the correlationanalysis, variance analysis and simple-effect analysis.The study’s results show that:1. The revised of the children’s behavior questionnairehas good reliability and validity, and can be used as a tool measuring children’stemperament;2.Children’s temperament is related to emotional self-regulation—high inhibitory control and high soothability of the children’s temperament lead to highcompliance of the emotion regulation.And high avoidance of the children’s temperamentlead to low persistence and low compliance and high frustration of the children’s emotionalself-regulation.3. Parenting is related to the children’s emotional self-regulation—highavoidance of parenting lead to low persistence and low compliance of the children’semotional self-reggulation,and high frustration of emotional regulation. And high warmthof parenting brings high compliance of emotion regulation.4.Children’s temperament andparenting affect the children’s emotional self-regulation in interaction—for the low level ofsoothability of children,the high warmth of parenting would increase the emotionalself-regulation’s compliance. For the high temperament approach of children,the highapproach of parenting would increase emotional regulation’s frustration.
