With the door open, Chinese and foreign exchanging frequently,and theimportance of nonverbal communication in the communication has becomeincreasingly evident. Human communication in two ways: verbal communication andnonverbal communication. In communication often focus only on verbal learning andignore the importance of non-verbal in intercultural communication. In fact, thenonverbal communication as an important supplementary means of communication inthe process of communication conveys a wealth of information and plays a role asrepeating, alternative, supplementary, regulation and so on. However, due to thedifferences of Chinese and foreign cultures, the nonverbal communication behavior inthe West there are significant differences.The article is divided into seven parts, mainly in the cross-cultural environment,exploring nonverbal communication.First chapter is the connotation of the nonverbal communication. This chapterdiscusses the definition, classification and function of the nonverbal communication.Definition of non-verbal communication, I summarize some key points at the sametime put forward their own views. On the classification of non-verbal communication,this chapter from the point of view of the information passed by the first non-verbalcommunication of information to pass into the main issue and the object of showingthe two categories, followed by this chapter in turn used the Body Language, Speechof Vice, environment language, object-language respectively classified into these twocategories. This is the innovation of this paper. As the function of nonverbalcommunication opposed to verbal communication, this chapter focuses on a six-point,namely: repetition, negation, alternative, supplementary, regulation, stressed. Thecomparative analysis of non-verbal communication and verbal communication part ofthis chapter is summarized by the contrast between the two nonverbal communicationfor a five-point characteristics of verbal communication, non-systemic, instinctiveworld, authenticity, three-dimensional nature.Chapter II: cross-cultural communication in verbal communication. This chapterby analyzing the culture of conflict embodied in the non-verbal communication,cross-cultural communication differences of non-verbal communication behavior isdivided into three different situations, and specific discussion. Finally in this chaptercontinue to explore the role of non-verbal communication in interculturalcommunication and culture embodied by the non-verbal communication (mainlydiscussed example from three small aspects of touch, position, time).The third, fourth, fifth and sixth chapters, select from the body language,accompanied by language, object language and the detail of the four aspects of theenvironmental language class of non-verbal communication of the specificcharacteristics of the similarities and differences in the different cultural backgrounds.The third chapter discusses the definition of Body Language, body language in intercultural communication in a concrete manifestation of their different culturalmeaning, and specifically discussed the specific circumstances of different types ofbody language. The fourth chapter discusses the accompanying speech (ie, Vicewords), defined Vice speech in intercultural communication in a concretemanifestation of their different cultural meaning, and specifically discusses thedifferent types of vice speech. Chapter V, Chapter VI in the same way on the objectlanguage and environment language is discussed. I think, from theperspective of cultural differences and an attitude of respect and understanding,to prayfor the final exclusion of cultural interference, to achieve "seeking common groundwhile reserving differences on minor ones", to have a harmony and smoothCross-cultural communication.
