Home Education seems a purely private thing, but with public function, which determines the national morality. With the improvement of the education in China, home education has been increasingly highlighted; consequently, many Chinese home educators have accepted it as an independent subject, and written books to raise their new home teaching methods. The translation of those works is of great importance, in that the good English version helps foreigners understand more about Chinese home education or it would lead to misunderstanding, even have bad influence on China’s image and interfere with the international communication in the related field. Keeping the native-English-speaking educators (parents included) as readers in mind, the author has translated some popular Chinese home education materials, and has conducted a study with the abundant "Chinglish" examples. Based on the deep-going researches on Chinglish, this thesis explores "Chinglish" in the translation draft from the perspective of Negative Transfer, focusing on the main categories and causes of "Chinglish" at lexical and syntactic levels, and putting forward some detailed strategies to avoid "Chinglish", attempting to inspire the translators to avoid it and promote the exchanges of the family education study between China and English-speaking countries.
