There are two important reformation in the development process of TibetanBuddhism.One is atisha’s reformation on Houhong period.The other one is masterTsongkhapa ’s religious reformation. Master Tsongkhapa ’s religious reformationoccurred in late fourteenth Century, when the Tibet Buddhist sects discipline lax.Master Tsongkhapa then began to rectify Tibetan Buddhism and to reforming theBuddhist precepts.He promote the learning system and stressed that the hearing,thinking and practicing is the same important. He specified the temple organizationand learning system to ensure the attendance system and integrity. The pure preceptsand discipline is important basis for Buddhist.So reforming the rules have become animportant part of master Tsongkhapa ’s religious reformation. Master Tsongkhapa usethe Bodhisattva Vows to governs the precepts of three vehicles.And put this into thePath to Enlightenment to uniform three vehicles.This article will introduced MasterTsongkhapa ’s religious reformation and Master Tsongkhapa ’s thought on discipline.
