Han Biao is an important writer on the literary world in the late southern song dynasty. He is famous at that time, but was gradually unknown. Existing works includes over2600poems, nearly200Ci works, the note Jianquan diary, poetry anthology Mr Zhangquan and Jianquan Selected Tang Poetry. The mainstream research about Han Biao is not much, and the single papers appear in recent years. Han Biao’family and lifetime, social activities and poetry content are three in-depth research terms. This article takes his poetry creation as the center, makes every effort to delve into his ideological mentality, poetic theory and poetry characteristic.The first chapter:Although Han Biao is famous for the hermit, but he do not forget the world, wandering in the contradiction of the court and village. He hopes to make a contribution to the country, but fails. He eventually relegates to the village, living an ordinary and easily life. However, Confucian philosophy always is the center of Han Biao’thought. He is in the mountains but the heart is in the court.The second chapter:Although Han Biao has no complete theory of poetry, he also has unique pursuit. He inherits Jiangxi poetry school’s mantle, attaches great importance to the Huofa theory. Han Biao and Zhao Fan selected tang poetry, study the poets in the middle and night Tang dynasty, different from Jiangxi traditional rejection. The concept Qing is the poem’s beauty that Han Biao pursues.The third chapter:Han Biao learns many predecessors and makes efforts, forming a variety of poetry styles. But he fails to achieve his own unique style. Han Biao is Jiangxi poetry school’poet, but he also has a close relationship with Siling poetry school and Jianghu poetry school. Han Biao and Siling are similar at the poetry aesthetic tendencies and writing techniques. They prefer Qing taste, they all use simple drawing technique. They are learning the tang dynasty, determining the different poets. Han Biao and Jianghu school poets have similar life experience. They are learning their predecessors and pursue their own styles. They all care current affairs. Their poetry is enveloped with of bitter mean and low tone.The conclusion:Although Han Biao pursues originality of poetry, his own wit, experiences, and the contradictory ideological mentality, limits his poetry theme, structure, tone and so on various aspects, leading to his failure. His poetry do not form unique characteristics. However, Han Biao have a close relationship with Jiangxi poetry school, Siling poetry school and Jianghu poetry school, delving into his poetry will has important significance to the study of poetry style’s change and comprehensively investigation in the process of the poetry.
