Writing Ci With The Method Of Jiang Xi Poetry School:on The Art Of Han Biao’s Ci

Han Biao is an important writer on the literary world in the late Southern Song Dynasty. He is famous for his poetry, but his Ci is not well known. In the present study of the history of literature, his Ci has not been given sufficient attention. There is no systematic and comprehensive study of Han Biao’s Ci. It requires ongoing analysis and discovery. As a successor of Jiang Xi Poetry School, Han Biao wrote Ci with the method he learned from poets of the school. The research of Han Biao’s Ci has an important significance to the study of the Ci style’s change in Southern Song Dynasty and comprehensively investigation in the process of the poetry. This paper points four chapters on researching Han Biao’s Ci.The first chapter analyzes the inevitability of Han Biao’s Ci influenced by the writing ideas of Jiang Xi Poetry School from some aspects, such as his living environment, his socializing, and the literary creation rules. The second chapter illustrates the application of the "Dian Tie Cheng Jin"(touch iron to transform it into gold),"Duo Tai Huan Gu "(snatch the embryo and change the bones)rules of Jiang Xi Poetry and the pursuit of the innovative spirit from the perspective of the use of allusions and the words in other writers’poetry and Ci. The third chapter analyzes the methods of using inverted sentences and changing the rhythm which learns from Du Fu in Han Biao’s Ci under the influence of paying attention to the syntax which learns from Jiang Xi Poetry, and discuss that because of the attention of "Huo Fa", Han Biao pursues the natural, fresh and lucid style. The forth chapter discusses the artistic achievements of Han Biao’s Ci and the reason why his Ci is not well known, and establish the position in the history of Ci.
