Korea Established Diplomatic Relations with China since1992, they are maintainingan amicable relationship for economical co-operation and development. Thus, notonly Korean Universities but other educational institutions even elementary schoolsoffered various Chinese classes, and it has been increased. therefore, Chinese hasbecome a popular foreign language to learn.Chinese Class in Korean Universities have many goals to achieve, which are teachingoverall Chinese history, economy, culture and literature with language, so thatstudents have a high level of expertise. For4years, students could have an in-deptunderstanding of China.As a result, Chinese education of Korean University has turned out many global andtalented students. One of the most important education is speaking. Chinese SpeakingClass of primary level in Korean Universities stick to traditional ways of teaching,and overlook the importance of speaking abilities.Speaking class has been revolved around teachers more than students, and studentsdon’t have enough time to practice speaking Chinese, because teachers has taughtexcessive vocabularies and grammar. therefore, Speaking class could be lose it’sintrinsic value. It’s very important issue, to find more effective teaching method inthese circumstances.This Study was focus on a “TBLT(Task-Based Language Teaching)”, which ishighly regarded and authorized in language teaching.TLBT is learner-centered teaching and enhancing students’ communicativecompetence while performing tasks. The aim of TBLT is range of tasks availableoffers a great deal of flexibility, and should lead to more motivating activities for thelearners.This paper presents TLBT(Task-Based Language Teaching) teaching method appliedto Chinese speaking class of primary level in Korean Universities.The First chapter is an introduction, gives a purpose and meaning of Study. inaddition, analyzes the existing researches of TLBT teaching method and describes it’s main value and advantages. The Second chapter analyzes the problems of Korea’scurrent educational methods based on the research. And the Third Chapter exploresthe applicability of TBLT teaching method for a primary level speaking class in aKorean university, including emphasize the necessity of educational reform. Based onthe findings of the study, suggestions are made in conclusion in Fourth chapter. Itproposes an appropriate teaching plan and several tasks in many different levels, forKorean teacher’s reference.
