Chinese and Korean people use prepositions and adverbial case markers respectively, when we express the meaning associated to the characteristics and behaviors of the acts such as time, place, target, origin, direction and cause. Prepositions of Chinese have a role in guiding the target located in front of the noun and noun phrase, then the format will become adverb in sentence to make the prepositional phrase as "preposition+noun or noun phrase". Placing after substantives, adverbial case markers of Korean then become adverb with the former substantives. Although the roles of preposition in Chinese are similar with adverbial case markers in Korean in a sentence, there are some differences of sentence structure. As a result, Korean students often make a mistake easily when they use preposition of Chinese. At first, this paper shows the definition, classification, function, characteristic and correspondence in relation to prepositions of Chinese and adverbial case makers of Korean. Then a survey of Chinese learners at beginner level was carried out to collect and classify error situations that occur frequently during using prepositions. On the basis of such research, I summarize how the error can be reduced. The paper is divided into five parts, and the specific details are as follows:-In part1,I examined by dividing the current state of research about prepositions of Chinese and adverbial case markers of Korean, as well as introduced focus, purpose, significance, method of study and source of language materials. In part2,I completed a comparative analysis of prepositions of chinese and corresponding adverbial case markers of Korean. In part3, the survey was carried out on Korean students who learn Chinese, to find errors during using prepositions of Chinese and analyze the cause. In part4,I provide a countermeasure for education and scholarship on the basis of analysis from the third part. In part5, I have concluded the contribution and inadequacy of this paper. This paper aims to reduce the errors caused by different systems of two languages. I hope that this paper will help Chinese learners at beginning level and teachers.
