Centring on the Taoist inscription of Kongtong Mountain and combining history books-. local chronicles and the other traditional history materials,the dissertation mainly sketches the Taoist constructing history of Kongtong Mountain to uncover the themes emerging in the constructing history of every stage,such as " Huangdi" Bodhimanda、the theme of “Xiandao”、"Wendao"and"Source of Taoism"、Bodhimanda of "Zhenwu Emperor"and endemic worship sites,etc.The bodhimanda’s conversion took whether to grasp the core culture connotation as the standard,thus making great influence on the Bodhimanda’s vicissitude of Kongtong Mountain. After the Ming and Qing Dynasty,Taoism of Kongtong Mountain appeared to be folkloristic and localized within the interaction of religious beliefs and folk worship.From Ming and Qing Dynasty on, Taoism of Kongtong Mountain appeared to be folkloristic and localized within the interaction of religious beliefs and folk worship. All kinds of folk organizations of Taoism like associations of pilgrimage sprouted, folk Taoist activities have the characteristics of large scale, wide participation. Then the subject of Kongtong Mountain’s construction also turned from the bureaucrat and gentry to the ordinary people who treated association as a unit. The growing of the association’s strength enabled the secular force to control the Taoist development of Kongtong Mountain, the Kongtong Mountain finally became a place for the native people to worship and pray.
