The Study On Father Figure In Zhangyang’s Films

The role of Father" has very important cultural connotation in Chinese traditional culture, its position and influence as well as the alteration of the relationship with the son generation all reflect the changes of the traditional family ethics concept. In the period of social transformation, the relocation of Chinese society ethics and the reconstruction of new tape of family values are presented by "Father", a very important cultural symbol. Father figure and father-son relationship are demonstrated commendably by means of the film. And this dissertation carries on concrete analysis to the performance of father figure in Zhang yang’s film on the second part. The third part of this particle compares Zhang yang’s film to oriental and occidental director respectively, strive to grasp more the cultural reason which hides in the different attitudes to fathers fully and faithfully. The last part attempt to go deep into family ethical conception and traditional culture which hides behind father figure, try hard to speculate the traditional culture and morality ethics and introspect predicament and outlet of individual freedom development and traditional ethics.
