The paper does research about the philosophic thoughts about Zhuang Zi of Wang Anshi through discussing his poems and papers. In several papers talking about Zhuang Zi, Wang Anshi takes a "keeping something and removing something" attitude. For the part good for the Confucianists, he explains Zhuang Zi quoting the Confucianists; for the part not good for the Confucianists, he criticizes. In the poems, the attitude to Zhuang Zi develops. In earlier stage, he explains Zhuang Zi quoting the Confucianists or respects the Confucianists but devalues Zhuang Zi; In mid-stage, he writes about nature and music which are the themes of Zhuang Zi, the idea of seclusion deepens; in later stage, he acceptand enjoy Zhuang Zi. In all, the philosophic thoughts about Zhuang Ziis paradoxical and developed. So we should pay attention to both parts.
