The present study took the60orphans and60general persons as participantswhom received a3(the kinds of priming words)×3(kinds of target words) twofactors within-subjects experimental design. We promote the priming experimentbased on orphans’ status-based rejection sensitivity and analyzed the results ofreaction time by showing the priming stimulate in a unconscious way which will notinjury the orphans. The conclusion:(1) For in terms of orphans, status-stigma wordscan prime the orphans rejection sensitivity, in another words, the status-stigma wordsmake the orphans identify all kinds of target words easily, and it shows a unconsciouspriming effect of status-based rejection sensitivity.(2) For in terms of generalpersons, status-stigma words can’t prime the general persons rejection sensitivity, inanother words, it is opposite to the orphans’.(3) Compared with the general persons, orphans have stronger sensitivity to the priming condition of status-stigma words. Inother words, the unconscious reaction time of identifying any kinds of target wordshas a significant difference only on the condition of status-stigma words as thepriming words.(4) For orphans, the level of rejection-cognitive reaction,rejection-emotional reaction, rejection-behavioral reaction of orphans’ unconsciousstatus-based rejection sensitivity have no significant difference, in other words, underthe priming condition of status-stigma rejection sensitivity, orphans have nosignificant difference about unconscious reaction time to the rejection-cognitivewords, rejection-emotional words, rejection-behavioral words, then shows differentcharacteristics with the conscious orphans’ status-based rejection sensitivity.
