Object of this paper is the development of Xuancheng literature and the literary style, andthe period is from the Tang to the Jin. This paper analyzes the literary works created in the periodof the Jin and Tang, most of which are poetic works, combining with the history and the culturaland the geographical setting of Xuancheng, and explores the reasons of thriving literature ofXuancheng, and sketches out the overall style of literature of Xuancheng from the Jin to Tang,and sums up the awareness of geographical cultural of the Xuancheng literature and geographicaland cultural features of literary expression. For the analysis of literary works, the article dividesthe relationships of the poets and the Xuancheng Literature into four types, then analyzed thefour different types of artistic creation subject characteristics.The paper argues that there arethree reasons of the development and prosperity of the Xuancheng literature: the timing fitts theera of the Literati south to Jiangnan; geographically nourished by the local landscape scenery;the creative subject is composed by a group of the talented poets. Xuancheng literary style ischaracterized with the overall mindset of the outpouring of the Hermitage, and the literaryconception of the "idle" and "static". The geographical and cultural awareness of Xuanchengliterature is reflected in the performance of literary expression of the Xuancheng naturallandscape, cultural landscape and name objects and they have their own characteristics.The structure is divided into four chapters. The first section of the first chapter defines thescope of Xuancheng literature in study of this paper: The literati who had been to XuanchengCounty or XuanZhou during the Jin and the Tang periods are all in the scope of the study. Theliterary works were created in Xuancheng County and XuanZhou all belong the object. Thissection also analyzes the conditions of the development and prosperity of the Xuanchengliterature, and thinks the Good timing, geographical convenience and good human relations areindispensable for promoting development and prosperity of the the Xuancheng literature. SectionII describes the current status of the regional literature research and the literary retained situationof Xuancheng.The second chapter outlines the history and culture of Xuancheng and the regional style of Xuancheng. Section I outlines the Build History of Xuancheng, Xuancheng belonged to Wu, Yueand Chu in the pre-Qin, then belonged to the Zhang County in Qin, then belonged to theDanyang County in Han, then belonged to the Xuancheng county in Jin. It was in the boundaryof Wan Ling County before Sui, and was changed into Xuancheng, under Xuancheng County. Itwas changed into XuanZhou in Tang. Section II retrospects the cultural origins and historicaldevelopment of Xuancheng. Xuancheng was in the cultural areas of Yang in Ancient times, untilthe early Han Jin, there were Yamakoshi people living there. Han people also were affected bythe Yamakoshi culture in the assimilation process. XuanZhou became an economic county ofJiangnan in Tang Dynasty, providing the conditions of development of the Xuancheng literature.Section III outlines the soil and climate, and the customs and culture of Xuancheng, it is a uniqueregional style to nurture a unique regional literature.In Chapter III the creations of the Xuancheng literary in Jin and Tang are divided into fourcategories, which are the local poets, poets working in Xuancheng, poets resident in Xuanchengand poets traveled in Xuancheng, and analyzes the reasons and nature of flowing into XuanZhou,according to the general trend of geographical mobility of the iterates in Tang Dynasty. Then thepaper discusses the literary background and the creative features of the poets of Xuancheng,sums up the overall artistic characteristics of the Xuancheng literary.The fourth chapter discusses the geographical awareness of the Xuancheng literature andthe performance characteristics of local culture in the literature.The local culture which wasconsciously integrated into the main works can be divided into three categories: naturallandscape, cultural landscape and XuanZhou name objects.They are written into their ownpoems by poets, and were given with the unique artistic charm.The conclusion section analyzes the lack and the value of the research. The study of theXuancheng literature in Jin and Tang Dynasties is only a case of the regional literature studies,and the conclusion needs the further research and proof.
