Chinese characters as record Chinese symbols in Chinese, is one of the most important Chinese auxiliary communicative tool.As the national carrier of culture, it has a strong Practicality and tools.This article’s perspective is to find that things,words or symbols which contain cryptogrammic "factors" do exist in our country’s cultural heritage and also makes arrangement and classification of this kind of culture. But mainly discusses the content of Chinese characters as the carrier of Chinese culture.The article is divided into six chapters:Chapter1, Introduction. This chapter is to introduce the raise of questions, the meaning of research, and give a brief description of current research situation and methods at home and abroad.Chapter2, this chapter exposes the special expressing form in Chinese culture—enigmatic languages and give a short introduction of the research about the Book of Changes.Chapter3, this chapter mainly gives a brief explanation of Chinese character’s shape and its function of containing secrets, such as the redcliffe mumbo-jumbo, Long shan pottery lettering, symbols of Ba shu, etc.Chaper4, this chapter lists some examples and gives demonstration about how the traditional Chinese cultural forms such as classical poems and couplets make full use of the function of Chinese character containing secrets in a proper way. Chapter5, this chapter shows the study of ancient Chinese character’s graphical interpretation and makes arrangements of highly representative ancient seals, drawings and the magic.Chapter6, this chapter shows the application of Chinese character’s function of containing secrets in commercial and military fields. It exposes the fortuneteller, draft and WuJingZongYao of Cenggongliang in enigmatic languages and simply discusses the feasibility of splitting Chinese character into English letter.
